Faversham Men’s Shed

The Shed is more than just a building –it’s an opportunity for men to share hobbies, skills, interests and banter. Working alongside each other provides the trigger for conversations, sharing and peer support.

The activities are diverse but include carpentry, willow basket weaving, furniture restoration and wood turning. Future plans include expanding the shed to provide space for small group training with a focus on building confidence and skills for employability and in due course the start of a social enterprise.

They’re [the Faversham Men’s Shed(s)] are community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun.

Everyone is given a warm welcome at our Shed… We always look forward to meeting new members and making new friends. From lathe work to recycling pallets, making bird boxes and bug houses but there is always lots of chat, laughter and coffee!

Spring schedule:
Every Wednesday, and Friday from 10am – 2pm

Shoulder to shoulder.

It’s better when we’re together.

You are guaranteed a warm welcome.
