Grab Life by the Roots!

Do you want to eat well but limited by motivation, budget or lack of skills?

Sometimes, eating properly is often the last thing on our minds, so let us inspire you and ignite your spark.

Come and join our cookery session to get you skilled up and motivated.

We will show you the simplicity of preparing and cooking easy, nutritious meals on a budget, without fuss.

From growing to eating for better health – Faversham’s community kitchen

Classes cover the basics of food hygiene, shopping and cooking on a budget, food preparation techniques and cooking delicious, affordable and nutritious meals, including recipes for special diets.

It’s not only those who take part who benefit – a shared meal is an opportunity for conversation and for some, the start of new eating habits.

Future aspirations include extending the programme to guest community chefs and offering accredited training in foods safety, preparation and hospitality.
